What are Mast Climbing Work Platforms and What Can They Do?
Mast climbing work platforms (MCWPs) are a powered access system which provides fast and efficient temporary access to any type of works being carried out. The range of Mast climbing work platform being used here at B.F.T. (Alher PM 210) is one of the best on the market and allows us to be amazingly accurate in meeting our clients demands.
Platform widths on the mast range from 4 metres to 40 metres and its different size platform decks allow us to erect a mast climbing work platform to precisely the right lengths of the facade being accessed; not to mention the ability to go up to 130m high at any length.
All the above can be seen in action in our current projects area, where we have stories and pictures of our most current mcwp projects!

Mastclimbing will compliment nicely our already developed scaffolding company and on many projects you will see them utilised together, with the masts sitting on scaffolds acting as protection decks or a scaffold giving access to a mast which has to be erected above ground level for a certain reason. Although having said this, MCWPs ability to be able to operate in almost any kind of environment will dismiss the need for large amounts of scaffolding; But it is good to know that B.F.T. can now offer and provide you both, either as separate or one complete package!
